Remodel: Calle Marginal
Ponce, Puerto Rico
Calle Marginal is a fast-paced, low-budget, residential remodel project. The intention is to rehabilitate a typical concrete residential structure with minimal effort and cost, in order to make it move-in ready, and more attractive, for a difficult real estate market. Changes to the facade include a covered entry porch and closed patio that improve curb appeal, and windows that provide the open interior area with cross ventilation. The interior requires some simple updates to the kitchen, bathrooms and closets. We want to make the house sellable, which is our client’s priority. We also want to make the house livable, practical and comfortable, which is the buyer’s priority. If we can accomplish both, then we can consider this small project successful.
