Residential Work

Residential projects are the experimental base for the kind of architecture we aim to produce at ARA. Few things are as personal as the place we live in, and those qualities of belonging, comfort, ease and security which we look for in our homes, are the same qualities that make our work and entertainment places worth inhabiting. 

Each project is closely connected to its particular location, which we understand as a series of conditions that provide clues as to how the project should be developed. These conditions include location, geography, orientation, the shape of the site, views, breezes, access, the urban-suburban-rural condition, and others, that in some way have to be incorporated into a solution that works for our client.
